Beginning Needle Felting
Learn the basics of needle felting! In this two-hour course, fiber artist Kelly Coldren will teach you the basics of sculpting wool using needles. These techniques can be used to make a variety of creations, from beads and garland to woodland critters! The course fee covers instruction, use of tools, and materials. Each attendee will take home their wool sculpture. Class participants are invited to bring a lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the Foxfire Museum on their own time.…

Taught by Foxfire contact and demonstrator Kermit Rood, this one-day class introduces the student to the basics of hand carving wooden spoons and utensils, from log to finished product.
