Come join the fun as we meet at 10:30 to discuss common beginner edible mushrooms in Georgia and then walk the beautiful acreage at Foxfire Museum to search for wild mushrooms. We will discuss and identify any edible mushrooms we find and enjoy a great day in the beautiful outdoors. This walk will be appropriate for older kids and teens also as we will cover about a half mile to a mile loop of the property. No pets please. Feel free to bring a snack- apples are great walking treats-and a water bottle is advised. Bug spray, rain gear and good walking shoes also recommended.
