What to Expect on Your Visit
The Foxfire Village Museum is made up of over 20 historic log buildings, each filled with artifacts from Appalachian life between 1820 and 1940, including our Children’s Village—kid-sized cabins where they can explore and play.
The museum is also home to the Foxfire Archive, consisting of nearly 60 years of oral history interviews, images, and video. This facility is open to researchers by request. Please contact us for more information.
