Guided Tour / Field Trips 

We offer a variety of learning opportunities for K-12 students, offering them a chance to:

• Learn about Appalachian natural and cultural history
  Step into the stories, traditions, and landscapes that have shaped life in Southern Appalachia for generations.
• Get them outdoors and unplugged
  Experience a learning environment beyond the classroom—out in the fresh mountain air.
• Meet demonstrators in our blacksmith shop, weaving studio, and more
  See traditional skills brought to life through live demonstrations, where students can watch, ask questions, and even try a few techniques themselves.
