Our comprehensive summer camp for ages 6-8 offers a nice variety of food and nature education. Each morning begins with a gentle nature walk where we look at different plants and explore the trails at Foxfire. Students then head to the cookery and herbalism cabins for hands-on activities that give everyone an opportunity to make something from scratch. From bug spray to salve and cornbread to cobbler, by the end of the week, students will have a wonderful selection of handmade goods to taste and take home.
