Split Rake Making

Learn how to create a green wood split rake using white oak wood with Heritage Woodworker Ben Banick. This process involves making pegs, mortises, and splitting the oak handle down the middle to make a strong and utilitarian wooden rake, just in time to rake the leaves in your garden. Remember to pack a lunch to enjoy on site!

Class size will be minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 and all tools and materials will be provided. The class is from 9am-4pm at a cost of $125 per participant. Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes early to be prepared to start at 9.
