Step back into mountain life at Foxfire’s Mountaineer Festival — a day filled with heritage skills, live music, great food, and family fun.

✨ Watch demonstrations in spinning, pottery, blacksmithing, quilting, woodcarving & more
✨ Enjoy wagon rides, kids’ games (3-legged races, sack races, Shiner’s Dash), toy making, and clogging contests
✨ Cheer on the crowd-favorite Crosscut Saw Competition
✨ Feast on local favorites: Blue Hound Barbecue, The Sunday Diner & Rabun County Band Boosters
✨ Music all day long to keep the mountains singing

🎉 NEW THIS YEAR: Appalachian Dress Contest
Show your Appalachian heritage style! Dress like mountain folks did long ago and win a chase prize Categories include men, women, and children. Each winner will receive a $25 cash prize.
Sign up at the Raffle Booth (A1) before 1:30 PM. Judging begins at 1:45 PM on the Main Stage.

🎟 Foxfire Fundraiser Raffle — $20 tickets for a chance to win a Foxfire Heritage Skill class (value up to $150). Tickets at Booth A1; winner announced from the stage at 2 PM.
