Ever wondered what it’s like to cook breakfast on a woodstove? Now’s your chance! Join longtime Foxfire friend Tommy Waldrop in our historic Warwoman cabin, where he’ll walk you through the basics of old-fashioned woodstove cooking. Tommy’s spent much of his life cooking this way—and you won’t just learn, you’ll enjoy a hearty, home-cooked breakfast right from the stove.
Your class fee includes full admission to the Foxfire Village Museum and Mercantile, so plan to spend the day! After breakfast, take a stroll through our scenic trails, explore over 20 historic log cabins and exhibits, or let the kids enjoy our Children’s Village—complete with kid-sized cabins built just for them.
