Enjoy the Spirit of an Old-Time Christmas in Appalachia!
We hope you’ll join us Saturday, December 6, 2025, for a day full of holiday cheer as we celebrate the Spirit of an Old-Time Christmas in Appalachia!
The Village will be decorated in its Christmas best, with something for everyone:
Santa visits from 11 AM–2 PM — get your photo with Santa!
Caroling and live mountain music
Make-your-own ornaments and children’s crafts from 10:30 AM–1:30 PM
Christmas cookies and a hot chocolate station
Throughout the Village, we’ll have heritage demonstrations including woodstove cooking, fiber arts, basketmaking, canjo making, blacksmithing, woodworking, flintknapping, candle dipping, and fresh popcorn.
Donations are appreciated to support this community event by our Foxfire volunteers, staff and board.
It’s a fun-filled day for the whole family. We hope you’ll come make memories and experience Christmas the Foxfire way!
