Foxfire Publications

For nearly 60 years, Foxfire has preserved the voices, traditions, and stories of Southern Appalachia through student-created media. What began in 1966 as a high school magazine evolved into a national phenomenon—resulting in an acclaimed book series, hundreds of magazine issues, and a rich archive of oral histories and folk knowledge.
