45th Anniversary Chapel Tapestry Throw
|
For the 40th anniversary in 2006, we offered a special tapestry throw featuring the Moore House cabin at the Museum. For the 45th anniversary, we moved a little further up the mountain to the Museum's log chapel, a student-built replica based on a church that stood near Waynesville, North Carolina—no one would give away their community's church building, no matter how old. Today, Foxfire is more than happy to share the Museum's Chapel by way of this 45th anniversary tapestry throw, featuring the Chapel's entrance and steeple on the steep terrain at the upper edge of the Museum grounds. Measuring appx. 50" wide and 68" long, woven from thousands of red, blue, yellow, green, black, and white threads, these throws are great for snuggling under on chilly days and striking enough to display as a wall hanging year-round.
