Patricia Kyritsi Howell, the author of Medicinal Plants of the Southern Appalachians, is an herbalist and teacher based just down the road from Foxfire. Her herb school, the BotanoLogos School of Herbal Studies, is Georgia’s oldest herb school offering online herb classes and field studies.

Learn about historic and contemporary uses of native plants in the mountain during this week-long program. These on-site activities are included with general admission to the museum.
